Kathmandu, 25 July 2004
Various Kiratis and non-Kiratis came together on Sunday in a seminar to discuss about the conservation of more than 25 types of Rai languages. The program was organized by the Wambule Literary Publication at the Royal Nepal Academy Hall. Wambule language, though spoken, doesn’t have written alphabetical forms of its own. Various speakers spoke on the issues regarding the conservation of different types of national languages. The 25th edition of the tri-monthly magazine of the Wambule language, ‘Libju-Vumju’ was launched at the program.
