Dhwangkumpurne 2064 to be held in Imadol

Wambule Rai are making preparations to celebrate our traditional, cultural Dhwangkumpurne festival (‘Janai Purnima’ in Hinduism) on Tuesday 2064 Bhadau 11 (28 August, 2007) at Imadol VDC, ward number 7, Kodku Khola side of Lalitpur District, on the eastern side of B&B Hospita Gwarko Chowk Ring Road, from 1:00pm to 6:30pm in the evening.

The ceremony is organized by The Wambule Rai Society, Nepal (WAMRAS), Lalitpur.

Dhwangkumpurne is celebrates by Kirati Wambule Rai. They will be dancing and singing ‘Sangina’, which is a typical folk culture of easter part of Nepal, especially in Unbu, Manebhanjyang, Hilepani, Waksa, Moli VDCs in Okhaldhunga district.
