Libju-Bhumju Award 2064 for Mr. Mumche Rai

Wambule Rai Literature Publication has decided to hand out the Libju-Bhumju Puraskar (Award) 2064 to poet Bidrohi Saila, whose real name is Mr. Mumche Rai.

Bidrohi Saila is a young and energetic Wambule Rai poet, who has created poems since 1995. He is from Okhaldhunga district.

This award is given annually to the best poem in Wambule Rai published in Libju-Bhumju tri-monthly magazine. Bidrohi’s poem was published in Libju-Bhumju volume 34.

There is only one award for literary work published in the Wambule Rai language. The Libju-Bhumju Puraskar was founded by senior journalist and lyricist Mr. Puspa Hari Kyampa Rai. Mr. Rai works as a news editor and news reader at Nepal Television. He was born in Umbu VDC in Okhaldhunga district and is a native speaker of Wambule Rai, a language from the eastern part of Nepal.

The award includes an amount of Rs. 1000 and a certificate.
